What areas do you serve?
Cocktails at Sunset is based in Los Angeles and serves events throughout Los Angeles County. Travel beyond 25 miles can be accommodated and is quoted based on the event location.
Is alcohol included in the starting price?
No. Our starting prices cover bartending service and planning. The client or venue purchases the alcohol, and we can provide a customized shopping list so you know what and how much to buy.
What does the client need to provide?
That depends on the package. At minimum, the client typically provides the alcohol and access to the event space. Mixers, garnishes, ice, cups, a portable bar, menus, and other supplies can be added to your quote.
Can you help determine how much alcohol to purchase?
Yes. Once we know your guest count, service length, menu, and drinking preferences, we can provide quantity guidance and a practical shopping recommendation designed to limit shortages and unnecessary overbuying.
Can you create signature cocktails and mocktails?
Absolutely. We can create a focused menu of signature cocktails and elevated zero-proof drinks inspired by your theme, season, favorite flavors, or event colors.
How many bartenders will my event need?
Staffing depends on guest count, menu complexity, venue layout, and service style. We will recommend the right number of bartenders—and a barback when helpful—to keep lines short and service smooth.
Do you bring a portable bar and supplies?
Portable bar rental and supply packages are available as add-ons. We can also work from a suitable bar supplied by your venue. Let us know what is already on-site and we will build the remaining setup into your quote.
How much setup and breakdown time is needed?
We generally plan to arrive before service begins so the bar is organized and guest-ready. Exact arrival and breakdown windows depend on the event size, menu, venue access, and selected setup.
Can you work with my venue or event planner?
Yes. We are happy to coordinate bar placement, load-in, service timing, venue rules, and other logistics with your planner or venue contact before event day.
My venue requires insurance documentation. What should I do?
Send us the venue's insurance and certificate requirements with your inquiry. We will review them with you before booking so you can confirm that every venue requirement is covered.
How early should I book?
As early as possible for Saturdays, weddings, holidays, and corporate events. Short-notice requests are welcome whenever the date, staffing, and preparation time allow.
How do I reserve my date?
Start by requesting a quote with your event details. We will confirm availability and explain the agreement, payment schedule, and any retainer required to officially hold the date.
What happens if my guest count or service time changes?
Contact us as soon as possible. We will review staffing, supplies, and timing, then update the quote when needed. Additional service time is subject to availability and the hourly rates listed above.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Cancellation and rescheduling terms are included in your service agreement. Because the date is held specifically for your event, retainers and payments may be subject to the timing and terms in that agreement.
